Donica has always been creative which has been spawned by her family. She comes from a generation of creators and sewists.

After a time working in the dental and healthcare industries, in 2018, with the support of her family, she decided to take the plunge and follow her passion.

In May of 2018, Log Cabin Sewing Company was officially opened in Butler. Her dreams of creating an environment where people meet, sew, share and grow is now a thriving reality. It's a unique business that offers the Milwaukee community the area's first "sewing lounge".
