This 2-part class will cover how to modify a pattern for a custom fit, and how to cut and sew swim suit fabric.
Class 1 - Friday, March 5th - 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm - Go over pattern, measurements, stretch of fabric, negative ease ∙ Trace pattern, make adjustments, cut out pattern and fabric pieces ∙ Instructions on basting ∙ Sew crotch of swimsuit bottom (if necessary)

At home during week:
∙ Baste lining pieces to main fabric pieces
∙ Sew crotch of swimsuit bottom (if necessary)

Day 2 Workshop Saturday, March 13, 9:30 am-5:00  pm:
∙ Construct and complete swimsuit

Brooke will be bringing a plethera of swim knit on the Friday night class that you may purchase direct from her to use as your muslin if you want!  A muslin suit is still made of swim material but is the first one you sew that may need adjustments or pattern alterations.  It's better to sew your first suit with less expensive fabric before cutting into your choice material!
