My Design Center - Module 4 Stamps/Shapes

Do you have a machine that has My Design Center but you haven't really dived in to it to know how to use it?  This class is for you!

We will go over features of My Design Center and expand your knowledge so you can use your machine to it's full potential.

If you have bought your machine with My Design Center from Log Cabin Sewing Company, this class is free!  Remember, we offer free machine classes for the entire time you own that machine!  Call us at 262-202-8765 to get your code to sign up for free.

If you have My Design Center, but bought your machine from somewhere else, the cost of the class is $50.

We will include all material needs for this class.  We recommend bringing a notebook and pen to take notes.

  • Bring in a stamp/shape into the Design Page
  • Understand the difference between closed shapes and open shapes
  • Understand the differences between Outline Only, Fill Only and Outline with fill options for Stamps.
  • Line Properties page and Line Properties Options
  • How to assign stitch types and colors to lines
  • How to double check that your line has been changed 
  • Using the Flood tool with Lines and Regions.
  • Selecting a Line style before bringing in a stamp.
  • How to relocate pieces of the design on the design page (Move)
  • Clearing the My Design Center Page.
  • Creating/ Extract a pattern outline from an embroidery design.
  • Understanding the differences when adding a decorative fill to the outside of a design in Embroidery Edit verses Extracting an an Outline and using it to create the outline for the decorative fill to retrieve in the Stamps/Shapes area in My Design Center.
  • Combining Stamps to create custom designs.
  • Placing custom design in desired frame size.
