Do you have a favorite shirt or a pair of pants that just don't fit quite right? We can help with that!
Join us for our first Alterations Workshop with Kathy Merkel.
During the workshop, we will spend time discussing all the students needs and the methods that are needed to make the alterations. The second part of class will be students working on their own garments. This method of instruction will allow everyone in the class to not only get one on one attention, but you will hear how to do other alterations with other garments that students bring.
Materials:
Besides the normal sewing supplies and your working sewing machine, please bring:
a regular 12" ruler
a curved ruler for garment making
pins
a fabric marking tool (chalk works great, yellow for white fabric, white for all other fabric)
matching thread.
We are suggesting that you bring 2-3 garments with you to class but can't guarantee that all will be completed.
